Art is a very important part of Austrian culture and in the capital, Vienna, you can feel it in the air.

There are many museums in the city but one of them is special, since it holds the biggest collection of graphic art in the world, containing over a million prints and 65,000 drawings: Albertina.

This museum was a former residence for the guests of the Habsburg dynasty during imperial Vienna, and it ended up becoming a museum in the early 20th century.

The building itself is already worth a visit, since it´s a beautiful old palace, but if we visit the museum we can enjoy works by important artists such as Albert Dürer, Rembrandt, Egon Schiele and more.

As well as its collection of graphic arts, the museum carries out various temporary exhibitions every year, so its content is constantly changing.

Also, its 20th century art and impressionist art collections are something that no art lover should miss.

Don´t forget to book your accommodation, so have a look at the Vienna apartments directory , they´ll allow you to enjoy the Austrian capital with comfort and privacy.

Also, visit Albertina to admire the works of some of the most important artists in the history of art.
